The cat's out the bag..! We're thrilled to announce our new Joint Venture with Cordage Group, bringing you Prideview Cordage, to offer a range of services within planning and architecture in the London area.

With our expertise in property acquisitions and disposals, it made perfect sense to branch into asset management and planning services. The Prideview Group now cover every stage of the property development lifecycle, combining Cordage’s planning expertise with Prideview’s tried and tested transactional abilities.

Prideview Cordage is Cordage Group’s regional office covering London and the M25, headed up by Juan Fernando Galué who brings with him a wealth of experience in architecture and planning.

The business has a pipeline of sites across London which are being planned and developed for sale, owned by several major Housing Associations, Pub and Supermarket chains, meaning Prideview’s private investors can rest assured that a strong supply of off-market investment opportunities is available to them first.

The humble office, once the cornerstone of working life, has in recent years, seen a real decline. Most prominently evident during the COVID-19 pandemic, when we saw the biggest WFH trial, like never before.

But the damage wasn't limited to COVID-10 lockdowns. Even after nationwide vaccination programmes and the resuming of usual activities, offices didn't see a return to pre-pandemic levels. Rather, most offices have re-evaluated their needs amid the shift to remote and hybrid work schedules.

In this special report, Bisnow spoke to 15 small owners across the USA and UK to see how they are developing a host of new strategies to backfill their buildings. From operating their own coworking spaces, to breaking vacant floors up into smaller spec suites, and offering more concessions, small businesses have diversified to survive.

As a family business, we've not been immune to these challenges either. Dilip Shah, one of our senior consultants shared with Bisnow how #ESG regulation is adding extra burdens on small businesses, "who can't benefit from economies of scale."

Although we're still buying and selling office buildings, we're now converting many of these offices to other uses, like nurseries or schools for pupils with special educational needs.

As we mark #InternationalDayofCharity (5th September), we’re dedicating this to @okacharity, a wonderful charity we’ve had the privilege of supporting over the last 11 years.

#InternationalDayofCharity aims to mobilise people all around the world to help others through volunteering and philanthropic activities.

For us, this has primarily been through our annual #PrideviewCricket Cup events, which have raised over £200,000 for One Kind Act, since its inauguration, supporting charities in the UK and globally.

This year, our #PrideviewCricket Cup raised £35,000, with funds being distributed to @landaidcharity, the property industry charity, alongside @yuva_unstoppable, an NGO that provides underprivileged youth in India with basic needs.

We're thrilled to share our interview with Liz Hamson, Editor of BE News, which was published this week.

Nilesh, Jesal, Vishal and Sej in our team had the pleasure of talking to and hosting Liz in our Stanmore HQ, sharing the journey of Prideview over the last 35+ years.

From our founders, Shailesh and Raj, buying contracts at London commercial auction houses in the 80s and 90s to now offering a full suite of services in commercial property - with a 20-strong team - we've come a long way in the last four decades.

At the start of this year, we closed £750 million worth of transactions and despite ongoing global economic challenges, we're now working towards our next major milestone, which is £1 billion.

As we diversify into new areas and potentially new locations, we'll continue to stay true to our values, which is 'building relationships' and 'giving back'.

We're ending the week on a high because a whopping £35,000 was raised at our #PrideviewCricket Cup 2023, which took place on 18th July.

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, supporters and spectators, we’ve raised a tremendous amount of money, for One Kind Act, who will distribute the funds between YUVA Unstoppable and LandAid.

With this year’s funds, the #PrideviewCricket Cup has raised over £200,000 for One Kind Act, since its inauguration, supporting charities in the UK and globally.

Our 11th cricket event this year had all the fun, antics and camaraderie you would expect. From the six teams battling it out for the winning title to the Ladies bowl-out and children's match, and not forgetting the lively auction and raffle, we've created some brilliant memories.

🏆 Congratulations to Major Estates Harrow, who took home the #PrideviewCricket Cup for the second year running, while newcomers to the event, Cordage Group came second. Knight Frank won the plate competition, The Prideview Champions Trophy 🏆.

While the day is always great fun, the overall purpose is to raise as much money, and we're thrilled to have reached the amount we have. We're proud of all the teams and thankful for everyone’s support. Bring on #PrideviewCricket 2024!
