With just one week to go before 3rd charity cricket tournament, and it’s our pleasure to give details of the event’s format, timings and the fantastic raffle and auction prizes up for grabs – all in our tournament brochure which can be read by clicking here.
Once again all proceeds raised will be in aid of Big Hug Foundation, a charity that thanks to our support over the years has begun construction of a brand new orphanage at their site in Coimbatore, South India.
We are delighted to welcome a number of new entrants to this years competition, which will be the BIGGEST EVER, with 12 teams! Thanks Metro Bank, Sandrove Braham, Anderson Wilder & Harris and Major Estates for joining the party! With both the Prideview Cricketers’ Cup and the Prideview Champions Trophy up for grabs, it’s all to play for.
Both this week and on the day, we will be raising more money by selling raffle tickets, the top prize for which is a Legends Bat signed by the some cricketing greats including Brian Lara, Adam Gilchrist and Rahul Dravid. Other prizes include some dinners, afternoon teas, hampers, hotel stays, designer clothes and wirless speakers, among other things – so there’s literally something for everyone.
And in addition, we will be auctioning off two fantastic pieces of cricketing memorabilia: A bat and ball signed by the great Sachin Tendulkar and a beautifully framed bat signed by the whole Indian Test match side! Anyone wanting interested in either of these items who can’t bid on the day can submit a bid via email to [email protected] – of course pictures of the prizes can be provided on request.
During the day we will have food provided by the one and only Spice Rack Lounge, one of the best known Indian restaurants in London, and an open bar provided by HT Drinks. Spectators are most welcome but of course we ask all to please donate generously!
