We were delighted to host the first of our “Prideview Presents” series of events at our brand new offices on Tuesday 28th February 2023.
The event provided a fantastic opportunity for a niche group of investors focussed on deals between £1m – £10m to meet face-to-face with Lloyds Bank’s London Real Estate Area Director, Jonathan Rowe, who gave a brief overview of the bank’s appetite for commercial and residential investment and development finance in 2023.
The key themes Jonathan covered were LTVs available for different types of assets, timetables to fund, amortisation profiles and interest rates. He also spoke about Lloyds’ clean growth financing initiative which offers 0% arrangement fees for ‘green’ properties.
Nilesh Patel also spoke about Prideview’s recent deal activity as well as walking through an off-market, blue-chip investment currently available, which, when coupled with one of Lloyd’s partially amortising Lloyds, offers a return on equity of over 9%.
There was ample opportunity for investors to network amongst themselves with drinks flowing and some tasty snacks to enjoy. Overall, it was great to see strong ‘appetite’ amongst investors looking to cash in on opportunities being presented by 2023.
